Free Catan with every drink
You’re one tap from a real table.
BORD seats you with three verified players at a boba shop nearby — matched in minutes, not group chats. The table, the players, and the game are free with your drink.
SCHEDULED NIGHTS OPEN · CONVOY DISTRICT, SAN DIEGO
Pick your drink
Table, players & Catan — free with your drink.
How it works
Queue. Match. Walk over.
Queue
One tap, drink in hand
Pick your drink and tap once. You’re in the queue while you’re still picking a hoodie. Bring a friend — duos are never split.
Match
Four seats, all confirmed
Every player is ID-verified, and all four confirm their seats before the table is set. No table of maybes — everyone you meet chose to be there.
Walk over
Sit down and play
Your table is set at a shop nearby and your drink is already paid — the night itself has zero transactions. Just show up and roll.
Why people show up
Showing up is the whole game.
A pickup game only works if all four chairs fill. Everything in BORD is built to make showing up the norm.
Verified, every one
Everyone is ID-verified before their first night, and you never meet anyone outside a staffed public shop. Women-only tables are an opt-in filter.
Karma you can see
Reliability is worn, not scored. Show up on time and your tier climbs — and higher tiers match first.
A drink on the line
Your drink is ordered the moment you queue. Skip the night and it goes to the next player — and your karma dips. Cancel before you’re matched and we cancel the drink order, full refund.
For shops
Your quietest tables, working.
BORD fills weeknight dead hours with prepaid players who order, play two hours, and reset the table themselves.
- Money moves before the night. We buy drink voucher blocks up front, on a plain invoice. If we ever disappear, unused vouchers stay yours.
- Staff take zero taps. Players redeem on their own phones at the counter — a green screen with a moving clock means the drink is already paid. Training is that one sentence.
- Players do the physical ops. The highest-karma player sets up the game and packs it away. We supply the crate: three copies of Catan, table tents, one shelf.
- The app is the bad guy. It reserves the table, ends the session on time, and says no to flakers — your staff never have to.
One dead 4-top · Tuesday 7–9:30pm
On seats that were earning zero — before anyone’s friend orders a second round.
